Sienna Jacob is a photographer and filmmaker based in London.
Her documentary project “Venni”, depicting the everyday life of human rights activist Vanessa Tsehaye, was exhibited at Gallery 46 and was selected as a highlight of the UAL Online Graduate Show by the Evening Standard in 2020.
In 2021, Sienna’s work as Editor-in-Chief of the first edition of 2001 Magazine, a publication commemorating the closure of the free press in Eritrea, was recognised by the Columbia Review of Journalism in the piece “A Return to Independent Eritrean Journalism”.
Sienna has a BA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the University of the Arts London.
